Rainy day. Biked out to Harpers Ferry and back. Was chilly in the morn, and wet. Oh well. 58 miles. Came home and took a long nap - woke up in the mid-evening to a shower and to head out to meet some friends for a while. More errands followed, and more domestic BS at home. But an overall relaxing weekend so far. Life is Good :)

Nice Fall-like day - until the thunderstorms began in the afternoon. Too much driving in the rain. But a good workout at the gym, albeit short. I drove down to see my family for a nice quick dinner. Always good to see them. Tomorrow is another workday :( But at least it's going to be Friday, and needing time to recoop over the weekend. Life is Thunderstormy.

Twas a nice pre-Fall day. The weather was spectacular, despite the long commutes and a hectic long work day. Spent time at the gym before the 1.5 hour spinner class, then the spinner class itself - then followed by a 1/2 hour of raquetball. Great way to destress. Life is Good.

Fall must be near. Chilly in the early morning - crisp. Was a very long day with offsite work thru my office - and for a long ass commute. Sobeit, a good change of pace. I forget how nice it is to ride the subway (Metro) and read, do a little inconspicuous voyerism of folks not driving cars. The day sped by faster than what a Metro ride could compare (except for the hour stuck in traffic before getting to the Metro). I do adore Washington DC for what it is - just the typical urban mess and dirty Federal style chic. Just a mess on any level to commute within. Came back and hit the gym for a nice sweaty spinner ride for an hour and a half (it was threatening to rain). Spent an evening of pure errands and domesticity, and preparation for tomorrow. Life is a Commute.

Fallish Monday of sorts. Lazy intro to the workday after a minor stressfull commute. Little drama to report, albeit much good productivity. Suffice to say - this week is going to be fantastic for cycling. Perfect temperatures, no rain. Trying to make last preparations for my last 2 Centuries of the season - not a logistical daymare, just more things to contend with. I stress more in the preparation department than the actual events that I participate in sometimes. It's all part of the lifestyle. Sobeit. I was finally able to take some time tonight to tally up cycling mileage from my ride log for the year since January 1, 2006: 11,735 miles (18,885 kilometers) (last year's log to date was 10,948 miles [17,619 kilometers]). Lazy Sunday of sorts. Sleep, cycling, domesticity, rain, nap, dinner. Sunday night anxiety. Yea.
