For a Friday - it was stressfull and pleasant. Weather was almost perfect outside the windows of the corporeal complex known as corporate idiotland - albeit productive.

I was aching to get out of there and go on a traing ride and then do a spinner class.

That's what I did - in all the splendor of the Spring over-pollinated panorama of Loudoun County, came home and did an hour spinner class. Wore my ass out.

Ran a few errands on the way home including washing my car - bad thing happenned when the person cleaning the interior windows of my car while wearing bling bling rings and caused a flap/rip of about 2" of the UV film to come off. Suffice to say - the manager advised me to get it replaced at their expense. Just another thing to do, even though my car is now clean...arrrg. One step forward...5 steps back.

Came home and watched some tv while cooking and paying bills - the highlight was finalizing my cycling event calendar for the season (see below).

I look forward to a stress free relaxing weekend - get in my way, and I'll take your punk - ass - out...ha! Just cooking, cycling, movies, domesticity. Time to sit out on my deck and have a beer or 2.

Life is a ripped UV film on glass...bugging the shit outta me.

Cycling Itinerary/Agenda for the 2006 Season:

"If you bring an umbrella, it will never rain" - is a strange superstition/Murphy's Law principle. That being said, I bless this cycling season with my itinerary (because, to post it in the past - I've never crashed, had any major probs, just good luck with the 16 Centuries that I'm about to embark upon between now and October):

What a strange flip of what transpired yesterday and the day before for a really shitty series of days to what a WONDERFUL day today. Albeit, work was a little stressful - but it was incredibly productive. I left work promptly and ran to the garden shop to pick up a few things to finish off my garden before I headed to meet up with my cycling club for a fantastic warm/cool tough training ride. Perfect weather, great company, amazing workout.

I finished up my club ride and came home to unload all my gardening things to finish off parts of my deck garden (pictured below). I picked up some basil and curry plants to finish the end flower box, and picked up a few plants. I planted the basil & curry and arranged everything, then sat out on my deck with a beer and watched the sun go down.

Will have a relaxing evening with a little tv and some tv and bill paying.

Almost too tired to make a post. Was a super exhausting day between the uber drama at work, the hour and a half bike ride afterwards followed with the hour and a half advanced spinner class at the gym. Work tomorrow will be a mess - with an all day meeting then followed with a long training ride with my cycling club. At least the weather is cooperative - I need some rest.

Even though I was less exhausted today - it was still a stressfull day dealing with ABBA (Asshole Bipolar Boss Asshole). He was in particular rare form - total tornado of a Tasmanian Devil, pure random delusional dickness. So it be told, I spent the better part of my morning (half the workday) in useless meetings that he "championed" the self esteeem holocaust of dragging down company morale to a downtime low with constant cracks of lack-of-confidence attacks teemed with his particular brand of idiocy. Yet another feather in the hat of lack of respect anyone has for him in the office.

Anyhoo. He finally left, and then the work actually happenned - it turned into a productive afternoon. Finished up and left on time to head to the gym for a very long and sweaty spinner session. Stopped on the way home to get a few small t-shirts for my spinner classes. Seems that most of my t-shirts are medium, makes me look like I'm swimming in them, and almost go down to my knees covering my cycling shorts like a nightie. Ack.

Came home and made dinner, prepped for the day tomorrow and took a few crappy tv shows while falling asleep on the couch with it storming outside. I had to get up several times to cinch down my deck furniture that was blowing all over the place, took in a few plants.

Oh sooo tired. Hopefully not coming down with something. Workday was comprized of a series of meeting with clients in downtown Washington, DC - wiped me out. On the commute back to our offices I decided that I was going to forego my training ride and come home and take a long nap. The weather was beautiful, but I felt like crap. Came home, curled up on my bed and slept til 9pm, woke up and had some soup and curled up on the couch to watch a little tv. Work will be busy tomorrow, but I have to soldier up and endure it.

Relaxing day....not looking forward to the work week, so I spent the better part of the day on my deck relaxing in the sun, fell asleep for a 2 hour nap, woke up to a sunset. Fucking wonderfull.
