Prepping for the Reston Century tomorrow...
Life is Bike-a-licious

I refuse to talk about work anymore, partially because it's redundant in the depressed nature that it is. Good thing I have a few leads on a few new jobs. Sick of the drama. Enough about that.
It was a fantastically warm/hot late August day - clear sky, and ripe for me to get out there and cycle up a storm. I headed out to join up with my cycling club and we headed out towards Ashburn, I channelled off and biked out towards Hamilton (I didn't want to overdo it with the club ride before the Century this weekend). Totalled 42 miles. Beautiful weather!
Speaking of the Reston Century - it's on Sunday, always a fantastic ride with all of my cronies. I'm looking forward to it - we are supposed to have supurb weather.
Life is still good.

Work...yea. Busy, chaotic - and eventually productive. Finished up late - but early enough to enjoy the splendor of a long training ride in the pre-Autumn warmth and sun out to Purcellville and back. 44 miles. Needed a LOT of destressing - and such a wonderful sunset.
Came home to correspondence and domesticity.
Life is Strange
Nothing positive to say about today. Work was shit, ABBA being a paramount asshole, worked until 8pm - no time to take a training ride, missed my spinner class. Total accident of a day - no rubber necking allowed, nothing to see here - just move on.
Back from the Blue Ridge Brutal Century - way too much driving, but perfect hot weather to spend countless hours hammerring up hills. Finished 104 miles in 6 hours and 21 minutes. Had a few unscheduled detours because of the poorly marked course - and a flat tire, hence the slow "saddle time".
Back to a Sunday night chock full of domesticity and preparation for the soon to be another (assumably) shitty work week. Sunday night Anxiety settles in real quick.
Weather is supposed to be great during the week - looking forward to the Reston Century next Sunday - always a leisurely fun ride with comrades.
Life is just life.
