Wrapping things up, again it seems - I feel like I'm in a constant state of preparation time space cunundrum. Another post-it note list, another rig-a-marole of some sort.

I'm going on vacation next week - and my "lifestyle" of endurance marathon cycling has once again complicated things. I feel like I'm feeding an addiction, or I have a child of a sort - whereas, I have to pack 3 times what most people do to travel to accommodate my cycling lifestyle. And I'm going to be out in the boonies - so I have to take it all, in preparation for the worst. I am not taking my repair stand, nor the kitchen sink. I'm glad I have a consolidated travel cycling toolkit just for this kinda thing - travelling to centuries, et al. My car is a veritable cycling Service & Gear (SAG) mobile.

I have to pack a crapload of clothing - the temps have hiked up to the 90s. Regardless -I'm looking forward to the time off, some relaxation..some cycling...then more relaxation...hopefully some good food...some great cooking (damnit...I need to pack my knifeset..I'm a stickler).

Enough of that. More of the same...very hot today, crazy at work - then off for a 44 mile training ride out to Purcellville - took a few photos on the way, was quite beautiful out.

Came back to car and was hotter than fried spit. The next few days are gonna be a little busy - tomorrow night is a packed club training ride, will be a solid 45 miler - will be hot fun & hot hopefully finale of a thunderstorm.
