my mind is... (XXV)

my mind is

a big hunk of irrevocable nothing which touch and taste and smell

and hearing and sight keep hitting and chipping with sharp fatal

tools

in an agony of sensual chisels i perform squirms of chrome and ex

-ecute strides of cobalt

nevertheless i

feel that i cleverly am being altered that i slightly am becoming

something a little different, in fact

myself

I've been reading a lot of poetry these days, another solace of sorts, helps in my own writing projects. I won't wax politics nor poetics. Today was a cold windy day - just slummed around doing domestic stuff, writing, catching up on things. Went on a training ride in the afternoon - was too frustrating, too windy. Came home and went to my gym, worked out with weights. Came home and took a nap, then spent the evening doing more writing and preparations for the work week.

life is like poetry.
