What a relaxing Fall day. Slept in real late after a night of carving my Man Ray Pumpkin (pictured below), and collecting enough raw pumpkin to roast this evening for my Pumpkin Soup.

Took a really wet 52 mile bike ride out past Purcellville and into West Virginia - somewhat uneventfull, but just really wet. Came home and took a nice hot bath, cleaned up around the house and headed out on some evening errands - to the Home Goods store for some more crap to decorate my bedroom, and to the grocery store for last minute spices/provisions for the Pumpkin Soup.

Came home and watched a little bit of a movie on tv while cutting, chopping, sauteing, and grinding all the components for the soup - finally put the pumpkin in the oven to bake. Wow, my place smells delicious. It's a long process - but it's oh sooo good.

FInished up most of the soup to allow to simmer for a few hours while I unpacked all the crap I got at the Home Goods place and hung a few things. It's really starting to shape up.

Tomorrow will be another relaxing day - sort of the same as today, but hopefully with less rain.
