What a fantastic weekend. Was a drizzly on Sat Morn, so helped my old man try to install a new kitchen sink faucett. Oy vay, the idiots who installed the sink did it backwards. They put the faucet in the sink, epoxyed it on and then installed the sink in the counter, then added all the drainage plumbing. Assholes. We could not get the bottom faucet nut off. I had to leave to head down to Richmond to visit friends. We'll deal with the sink another time. Uneventful drive down - got down there and my friends were busy until after work. I ended up walking around Carytown and window shopped. Then got together with my friends, went on a walk - then we went out to dinner at this really cool hole in the wall West African restaurant, Ma-Musu's on Broad near Robinson St in the North Fan district. The food was quite good, and is specific to Liberia.

After dinner, ran a few domestic errands and helped doing some domestic stuff around the apartment. This morning, made pancakes, had coffee and prepared for a leisurely bike ride with friends at Bryant Park on the Northside. It was beautiful weather. Leisure to means "no sweat" - ha....this was almost too leisure for me. But it was great to be out and to talk with my friends, enjoying the weather. Ran a few errands (got me a new Hydration Bladder - a Cyclone 2 litre Camel-like water bladder for biking)and then came back to the apartment, putzed around, at a late lunch - and prepared to drive home. Said my farewells and headed on home. Was a beautiful drive home. Sunday night anxiety sets in.
